<p><a target="_blank" href="http://elitedaily.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Elite Daily</a> stated that “we live in a society in which productivity is considered to be a highly valued aspect of life. If you seek to impress someone, whether it’s at a job, networking or in everyday relationships, people will wonder what you’re up to. ‘Nothing’ is an answer that’s often frowned upon, as is general laziness”. However, it seems that for the most part this statement is misconstrued, especially by those who are young, hungry and eager to impress – students.</p>
Failing to Prepare is Preparing to Fail
<p>Any good sales representative knows that preparation is often the key to success. This applies to all aspects of a sales process – from the discovery to the presentation, right up to negotiating and closing the deal.</p>
Women in Sales
<p>According to the most recent<a href="http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/75-006-x/2016001/article/14651-eng.htm"> Stat-Can Labour market report</a>, there has been a “substantial increase” in the number of women entering the workforce. Women are now 58% of all graduates at Canadian Universities/Colleges (you can read why<a href="http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/81-004-x/2008001/article/10561-eng.htm"> here</a>), and most of them are pursuing professional careers (doctors, lawyers, etc.) with more and more pursuing business.</p>

Unlearning What I Thought I Knew About Sales
